Genesis1 “In the beginning god created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the spirit of god was hovering over the waters.”
The underworld in Egyptian mythology is often represented as being of water. But why would water represent the chaotic state from which order arose and the ‘spirit of god’, which parallels Atem as the creator god rising over the waters of Nun?
I came across a paper entitled “Similarity model of chaos phase space and its application in mid‐ and long‐term hydrologic prediction” which attributes a chaos model as being a recommended model for flood prevention in China.
Here is the purpose: “With frequent floods occurring, and the fast economic development in China, attention must be paid to flood prevention, water supply, and forecasting precision. In particular, mid‐ and long‐term runoff prediction is being paid more and more attention by researchers, and it is also the most difficult problem to solve. The purpose of this paper is to apply chaos phase space theory to forecast river run off.”
Chaos theory also has solutions which may be found in the double rod pendulum dynamical system. Depending on where the pendulum initial condition is begun it may end up in a completely different position. In the book Walking the Path – The Eclipse Theory: A Reflection On The Fallen Angels it is shown how the measurement of a meter was calculated at one time using a pendulum with a length which produced a half-period of one second (also known as a seconds pendulum). What can we predict out of chaos? A meter would seem to be the answer in short.
